Gregory Close - Director
As a developer and hotelier Gregory has been creating comfortable spaces for people to live for the last 25 years.
Starting in the early 2000’s with a contacting construction company and working on many residential and commercial projects in Central London, he has adopted a keen sense of old world style in his projects, while integrating modern conveniences and objects when the design calls for it.
In the last decade, he has transitioned his portfolio from residential tenants to a short-let model to vintage hotels and has worked to master online sales during the process.
The transition to hotels has been a culmination of a long held goal, that being for the company - a group of unique hotels bearing traditional old English style and hospitality.
With an aptitude for service and desire to create a wonderful guest experience, Gregory has thousands of happy guests to show for it.
Gregory speaks fluent English and proficient Afrikaans, and works with our UK and South African investors to achieve their goals.
He graduated from The University of Natal, South Africa in 1996 with majors in Business Administration, Marketing and Psychology.
Clare Tsai - Director
Clare joined the company over a decade ago, and has recently been appointed a director.
Having studied logistics, managing the requirements of a short-let business and our hotel has been a natural fit with the company.
From the outset, Clare applied herself to online tools like Booking.com and other Online Travel Agencies (OTA's) to achieve our baseline sales, a tremendous achievement that forms the basis of our business today.
She also manages our management accounts and the surrounding administration of the business.
Clare demonstrates consideration and empathy with guests, and her work ethic for ensuring a memorable stay is second to none.
Clare speaks fluent English and Mandarin, and works with our Chinese and Taiwanese investors to achieve their requirements.
Clare graduated from Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh in 2011, with a Masters Degree in Logistic and Supply Chain Management.
